Is Search Overpowering Traditional Media?

A recent Google-Nielsen study showed that television commercials for movies were only 2 percent more influential in the decision to see a particular film than the medium of search. What ever happened to print? And what about radio? and only a 2 percent difference between television and search? The world is definitely changing.

Will search ever outdo television? That’s a tough call. Television is absolutely the major advertiser’s medium of choice, but with the growing trend leaning toward online and considering the benefits you receive from advertising on the internet that you can’t get anywhere else (ROI, Source tracking, spot targeting etc.), I think it will definitely happen in certain industries.

    What a great insight.

    Yes, I agree that it will happen for some industries, but not really for all.

    Even though many are into the use of computers, many are still dependent on using the traditional media, knowing that it has its own market segment, right?

    Will the net take over TV, hard to say but as the kids that are in the range of 10-17 grow up they have always had the net it has grown with them. My kids know the net better than most aduts do and they are all under 10. Who knows if the TV will ever really die but if you want to keep up in business you better be ready.     I dont think that the internet will replace TV as such, but i do think the two will start to merge together. We’re already seeing IPTV devices.

    What is Nemeas? I’ve never heard about it!

    I have been playing Goonzu online a long time, but also love, which I had deeply in love with it. From 1 to 75 the process I found a wife, she called XIANGXIANG! I loved her and she loved me. During that time, although I was very naïve, all day online, to accompany my wife, fight monsters, skills training, chat, earn Goonzu gold, oh, but I was very happy. We unions were uniting, there was unknowingly, big head, moonlight, tears, and so on. If say not happy, then I was deceived!
